At the end of 2010 we were adopted by a stray cat whose name was Tabatha; this picture was created as a homage to her.
The view is based on the Roman Forum, the column being Trajan’s Column, a plaster copy of which can be seen in the Victoria & Albert Museum in Kensington.
The cat was seen as a divine creature in ancient Egypt, and in folklore cats were often used to ward off evil spirits and were often found mummified behind chimneys in old houses.
