This is sub-titled Towards a Sub-Newtonian Universe’ and is in many ways a homage to Victorian artist John Martin whose epic large canvases of The Deluge etc test the bounds of credibility in terms of scale etc.
The beautiful city is in the heavens and although Neo-Classical, has that other worldly feel.
The colours in this picture are ethereal and the only grounded element is the steam railway in the foreground.
