This is another autobiographical view which includes a very young Bill and my Mother and Father watching the trains go by.
My father was so accommodating that he accompanied me on a railtour to Crewe works when I was twelve years old; my Mother used to take me in the pram when I was three years old to Penge East station to see the trains (steam) go by. This is a homage to them and their support for my fascination with steam railways.
This picture conjures up that busy scene during the age of steam.
