This is another composite view of London that focusses on the area around St Bartholomew the Great, Smithfield, Cloth Fair and the Barbican. The modern buildings are caricatures that cock a snook at the Barbican development designed by Richard Seiffert.
It is also a tribute to London stock brick and barbed wire and explores the layers of London history uncovered as a result of the London Blitz.
