This is drawn from a memory of the ship breaking yard at Faslane.

Here we see small dock tank engine pulling a truck with a part from a warship being broken up at the shipbreakers’ at Faslane. I passed this spot when I boarded a diesel railcar that did the ‘Six Lochs’ tour in 1960 covering the area north of Glasgow. At this time Britain was scrapping the last of its great Battleship fleet which took some time to expedite.
