This is another tribute to my days as a train spotter, where we see a gumshoe (detective) type character walking across a bridge somewhere in the country.
Coming towards him is an express train hauled by an A4 pacific locomotive known colloquialy as a ‘streak’. A tractor ambles across a field left of centre attracting a flock of crows whilst storm clouds gather in the distance.
The unquiet in this picture was inspired by the crop dusting sequence in Hitchcock’s masterpiece ‘North by Northwest’.
