This is another composite view inspired by Cornwall.
This is a night view which I think is wholly successful. A full moon lights the scene and illuminates the wispy clouds.
The house has its windows lit, the light making the heraldic figures on the outside terraces and staircases look erie.
The lit front of the house was taken from the medieval front of St Michael’s Mount. The blasted tree on the right has a face that is grimacing in the wind. Behind it other blasted trees disappear over the horizon.
