This view from Porthmeor Beach shows the chapel of St Ia which has looked down on St Ives for many centuries.
The chapel was partly demolished at the end of the 19th century and rebuilt through the benevolence of Sir Edward Hain.
The view from the chapel is one of those that stay with you forever.
