This was another St Ives pictures, taken from a drawing done on the spot.
The location was on the Island by the chapel overlooking the coastguard station. This building nestles amongst the round embrasure of an old naval gun emplacement.
The man and his dog was added as a focal point. In the distance can be seen Godrevy Lighthouse highlighted in the novel by Virginia Woolf.
