Artist
The title is borrowed from a painting by Millais with two nuns digging a grave.
In my picture we see a thoughtful Victorian lady sitting by a graveyard with a large abbey like building in the background.
The female figure is based on a photo of May Morris daughter of Pre-Raphaelite William Morris.
