This drawing came from a pen sketch done in St Ives whilst I was taking part in the St Ives Arts Festival in September.
This part of Cornwall is famous for its shipwrecks new and old. The wrecked boat is a fairly modern trawler which has been driven on to the rocks and is being relentlessly torn apart by the raging sea.
